You can see this with a moodlet that is a gradient between the two. Having some happy moodlets is really awesome because they will boost any other emotions you have, so if you have a happiness +1 and an inspired +2, you’ll find your inspired moodlet to be boosted. Your sim’s happy emotion is shown with a bright green background and aura around your sim in the bottom left hand corner.
